On the morning of March 16, unknown drones attacked two oil refineries in the Samara region of the Russian Federation.

A drone attacked the territory of a plant in Syzran. A fire started, the area of which was 500 square meters.
“The attack occurred at 6 a.m. local time. The first drone attacked the territory of the oil refinery in Syzran. A fire started there. Now the fire area is 500 square meters,” the message says.
The drone also attacked the Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery. A fire broke out there too, which rescuers put out.
“At the same time, several other drones attacked the Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery. A fire started there too, which was extinguished after half an hour,” Baza reports.
The local telegram channel City of Syzran also confirms information about the fire at the refinery, however, its causes are not reported.
