Closed in Moscow airports due to drone attack
He noted that a total of 13 drones were shot down in different areas of the Moscow Region. One of them hit a multi-story building in Ramenskoye, causing a fire in several apartments on the 11th and 12th floors.
Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov spoke about the consequences:
"During the night attack by the UAV, apartment buildings in Ramenskoye were damaged. Apartments on the 11th and 12th floors are on fire on Sportivny Proezd. All emergency services quickly arrived at the scene. The head of the district is also there, a headquarters has been set up. Firefighters are currently putting out the fire. An ambulance and intensive care units are on duty near the building. Unfortunately, a 9-year-old child died," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, another drone hit a house on Vysokovoltnaya Street in Ramenskoye - an apartment on the ninth floor was damaged and one person was injured.
"In total, air defense shot down 14 drones in the urban districts of Podolsk, Ramenskoye, Lyubertsy, Domodedovo and Kolomna this night," Vorobyov added.
The "Carpet" plan has been introduced at Moscow airports. More than 30 international and domestic flights have been delayed at Vnukovo Airport due to a drone attack on Moscow, six have been canceled.
Among the flights arriving at Vnukovo, 13 were delayed, two were canceled. About 10 flights are delayed at Domodedovo, and the same number are taking off. At least three departure and two arrival flights have been delayed at Zhukovsky.
At Sheremetyevo, departure and arrival delays have been isolated so far.
