Russia announced a drone attack on the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery

At the beginning of the night on June 6, explosions occurred at the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery, and a strong fire started. This was reported by Censor.NET, with reference to the Russian Telegram channels.
Local residents note that they heard several explosions in the area of the enterprise.
Subsequently, the governor of the Russian Rostov region Vasily Golubev confirmed that the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant was again hit by Ukrainian drones.
“As a result of the UAV attack, a fire broke out at the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery. Emergency services are on site. Information about the victims is being clarified,” Governor Golubev wrote in his Telegram channel.
A little later, he stated that extinguishing the fire at the Novoshakhtinsky plant was suspended due to a repeated attack.
“The work was suspended due to a repeated attack, the personnel were withdrawn to a safe distance. The use of a fire train is being prepared,” local channels quote Governor Golubev.
The governor claims that the fire at the refinery spread over an area of 50 square meters. m, while at first about 120 people and 15 pieces of equipment extinguished it.
Strikes at the Novoshakhtinsky Refinery
The Novoshakhtinsky Refinery is located approximately 60 km north of Rostov. This is the only refinery in the Rostov region.
This is the third drone strike on this enterprise. The first two were in March and April, after which, according to Russian sources, the plant stopped working.
