A rare collectible Skyline GT-R R32 was stolen from the Australian division of Nissan (16 photos + 1 video)
Nissan Australia has lost one of the gems of its historic car collection. A rare 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R was stolen from the collection. The car is valued at over AUD 250,000. 
Between 1989 and 1994, Nissan officially brought no more than a hundred Skyline GT-Rs to Australia — one of the rarest models in the country. The stolen car also has a red body color. The local Nissan office bought the car in 2015, fully restored it, and used it in various promotional events.
The company does not provide any details about the theft of the sports car with the GTR 091 license plate, specifying only that it is already cooperating with the authorities to track down the rarity. In addition, Nissan called on everyone who can somehow help the search to share information. Given the steadily rising prices for Japanese classics in general and the GT-R in particular, the car was stolen for resale and is possibly now being prepared for transportation outside of Australia.

Local police managed to rescue a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, stolen from a rental company and already loaded into a shipping container for shipment by sea abroad. It was this white coupe that went viral on the Internet in the fall of 2022 after Lewis Hamilton rented it. Judging by the video published by the athlete, he did not spare the car, and the rental company Omoshiro even planned to go to court.
