Nissan X-Trail was made into a tracked ambulance for mountainous areas (13 photos)
Nissan has shown a new concept based on the current generation X-Trail serial crossover. This time the prototype is called Mountain Rescue: the all-terrain vehicle was converted for emergency assistance in mountainous areas, for which it was equipped with tracks instead of wheels. 
The chassis of the crossover was modernized using fairly common kit kits, but Nissan does not specify the manufacturer of the trucks. But it is known that 23 centimeters were immediately added to the crossover’s ground clearance.
On the outside, the X-Trail was equipped with extended wheel arches, towing eyes, a winch and additional lights. A “chandelier”, evacuation stretcher, skis and snow shovels are attached to the expedition trunk.
The interior of the crossover was transformed to search for and transport the wounded or injured. Instead of a rear sofa, there is a place for a recumbent person and a chair for a doctor, and a GPS navigator and a set of communication equipment are installed in the front part. In addition, the concept was equipped with a drone and a box for storing essentials.
The prototype debuted at one of the ski resorts in Italy: in this way, Nissan hopes to emphasize the importance of a responsible approach to skiing on unprepared slopes.
