Land Rover Defender Apocalypse 6×6 - a 6-Wheeled Monster Made to Order (36 photos)
Apocalypse Manufacturing in Pompano Beach, Florida, continues to actively build six-wheeled monsters. This time, the craftsmen have redesigned the Land Rover Defender 110.
Following the customer's wishes, the British car was given a full third axle with drive to the fifth and sixth wheels. The new suspension with air springs allows you to increase the ground clearance by an additional twenty centimeters at the touch of a button. In turn, the 20-inch wheels, shod with impressive 38-inch tires with a developed tread, will give the driver of the World Ender more confidence outside of paved roads.
The gentleman's kit also includes extended wheel arches, protective plates, side steps and rock guards, an expedition roof rack, a bullbar with its own name Cow Killer and a safety arc over the cargo compartment attached behind the cabin. Plus an LED chandelier, a full-size spare tire and a fuel tank with an increased capacity.
With the exception of surgical work on the body and chassis, everything else remained in the factory version, including the interior filling and the engine - a 5-liter V8 with its 518 hp of power and 625 Nm of torque. Since the donor of the World Ender was the Defender Carpathian Edition with rich equipment.
The car cost the customer $ 375 thousand, or as much as three regular "Defenders" with an add-on.
