10 copies of Land Rover Defender from tuning studio Mansory (22 photos)
Mansory presented its new work to the public - a Land Rover Defender SUV in a 3-door body and with a V8 under the hood producing 650 hp. In the version from the tuning studio, the car is called Black Edition.
The Black Edition differs from the standard SUV in its developed body kit, most of which is made of carbon fiber. It also got a carbon fiber hood, additional lighting on the roof and 24-inch branded FD.15 wheels shod in low-profile tires. Traditionally, the tuners also worked on the interior. The interior combines black leather with Alcantara and contrasting orange accents. As a bonus, the craftsmen installed a lot of LEDs in the ceiling, which should imitate the starry sky.
The factory Defender 90 with a 5-liter V8 under the hood has 525 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque, while the Black Edition boasts 650 horsepower and 870 Nm. The company did not specify what exactly was done to the power unit to increase power.
The total circulation of Defender Black Edition will be only 10 copies. Prices are not announced. Later, Mansory promises to show a 5-door version with similar modifications.
