The cars received updated power units, a modernized chassis and an expanded list of available electronic equipment. At the same time, prices for BYD Han not only did not increase, but for some trim levels they even decreased. 
The appearance of both versions of Han was unified during the restyling - now they look almost the same. The chassis uses a five-link design on the rear axle and new adaptive DiSus-C technology. A fresh body color Weiyang Gray has appeared, and black decor is available. 
After the update, the BYD Han DM-i is equipped with a hybrid power plant DM of the latest, fifth generation, the use of which the concern is now actively increasing. In the case of the sedan, it consists of a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with 156 hp and 225 Nm, an electric motor developing 272 hp and 315 Nm, and a 40-kilowatt battery. The fuel consumption of the BYD Han DM-i is from 1.6 to 3.8 liters, depending on the battery charge level. The four-door model will travel up to 125 kilometers on electric traction with a total power reserve of 1,350 km. The new product was estimated in the range from 165,800 to 225,800 yuan. Thus, all hybrid trim levels, except for the most saturated one, became cheaper by 4 thousand yuan.

The most affordable electric car will receive an engine of 204 hp and 310 Nm, the average level is 228 hp and 350 Nm, the top configuration includes a 245-horsepower engine. There are also three battery options, from 60.48 to 85.44 kW⋅h, they provide a range of 506 to 701 kilometers. Finally, for the most powerful modifications, an 800-volt architecture is provided, thanks to which the battery charging time is significantly reduced.
The starting price of the BYD Han EV remains the same and is 179,800 yuan (12 million tenge). At the same time, the cost of other configurations, of which there are three, has been reduced. The most expensive electric car will cost 235,800 yuan.

Among other updates, which mainly went to the top trim levels, is a more advanced DiPilot semi-autonomous control system based on the Nvidia Orin X chip and an improved hardware complex of 31 sensors, including a lidar.
Most likely, the technical improvement against the backdrop of price manipulation should help sales of the BYD Han family, which have been declining lately. According to the Chinese press, in August, the popularity of sedans fell by a quarter compared to the same month in 2023.
