A house in Colorado that resembles the Flintstones' home is up for sale (9 photos)
A mansion called "The Cliff House" is for sale in Larkspur, Colorado. It looks like a Flintstones-style home and will set its new owner back $989,900.
The 2000 residence is uniquely located around a 200 million year old red rock.
"From the outside it doesn't look like a house - it looks more like a prison," Karen, the owner of the property, shared on an episode of "America's Ugliest House."
Her husband Allen added, "It was built by a gentleman our neighbors call 'bohemian.' In terms of design, the architect said, 'Be glad it's still upright.'"
The original owner even put in a dirt floor to grow his own garden inside.
The one-of-a-kind home offers a total of 2,260 square feet of living space spread over four floors.
Inside there is an entrance hall, living room, two bedrooms (guest with walk-in closet and master with electric fireplace), two bathrooms, kitchen with wine fridge, study, laundry room, and magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
In addition, there are two terraces - both on the third floor and one of them two-level - and a large balcony on the top floor, which serves as a yoga and fitness area.
