New Tesla electric cars were found in an overgrown field (4 photos)
Several photos have appeared online showing brand new Tesla electric cars parked in an overgrown field. It turns out that they are not abandoned: this is how a Florida dealer stores cars that have not yet been sold. Internet users assume that this approach may indicate the start of overstocking.
The photos show at least several dozen Tesla Model 3s. At the same time, the author of the photos writes that there are hundreds of cars in the field, in different versions and trim levels. And they are by no means old, stagnant examples: it is clearly visible that these are restyled "threes".
This method of storage may turn into problems for future owners. Rodents can get into electric cars from the grass and the ground. And it is not at all good for the paint to be left unprotected from the scorching Florida sun for a long time.
Interested users of the portal called the dealer and found out that this unusual site is used for unsold cars. Perhaps the dealership ordered too large a batch. But many are inclined to believe that this is an echo of the global decline in demand for electric cars.
