Tesla Cybertruck owners faced serious problems (5 photos)
Before the first owners of Cybertruck had time to receive their long-awaited cars, some of them immediately encountered malfunctions and even breakdowns, not even having had time to drive a couple of kilometers. A lot of messages from dissatisfied users have already appeared on the forum of electric pickup truck owners.
For example, one owner of a futuristic pickup truck writes that he only managed to drive about 2 kilometers down the road when a steering error immediately popped up and a flashing red screen appeared. I had to pull over and wait for a tow truck, since the Cybertruck couldn’t go any further. And the dealer the user contacted refused to help.
In the comments, users suggested that, most likely, the problem is related to some kind of electrical fault rather than to the internal unit. However, this does not make it any easier, since the Cybertruck is crammed with electronics from top to bottom.
Another story from a new owner of an electric car tells of an incident where the brakes failed and the driver crashed into a lamppost. Moreover, the airbags did not even deploy during the collision.
Some Tesla Cybertruck owners have encountered a new problem. As it turns out, the American automaker uses glue to attach the accelerator pedal pads, which doesn’t do its job very well.
Messages have started to appear on Cybertruck owner forums about trims falling off or sliding off. Moreover, in some cases, part of the pedal got stuck between the interior panels and blocked the accelerator in the pressed position. It is believed that this problem could be the cause of some of the strange accidents in which Cybertrucks have appeared in the United States.
Tesla appears to be aware of the existing problem, although no official statements have been published by the manufacturer. A number of future pickup truck owners have received notices of delays in vehicle deliveries. It is alleged that the reason lies precisely in the falling off pads, and the company decided to stop all deliveries for at least a week.
