Tesla introduced a small Cybertruck for children for $1,500 (3 photos)
On the Tesla website there is an opportunity to order another modification of the Cybertruck pickup truck. It costs only $1,500, but structurally it has nothing in common with the original: it is a small electric car for children.
The children's Cybertruck looks almost like a real one, except for the lack of a roof; it is supposed to enter its interior from above. The electric car is equipped with functional lighting equipment at the front and rear and has a steering wheel like an adult model. It is designed for two passengers aged 6 to 12 years with a total weight of no more than 70 kg.
The rear-wheel drive car is driven by a motor with a peak power of 500 W (nominally 350 W). There is a dual-mode speed limiter that can be set to 8 or 16 km/h. This Cybertruck can move in reverse at a speed of only 3 km/h. A small battery will provide a 20-kilometer range.
Additional features of the baby Cybertruck include adjustable seats, pneumatic tires and a small storage compartment in the rear.
Tesla promises to begin deliveries of the unusual pickup truck only at the end of December.
