A little girl became the heroine of the festival
A girl from Guangdong province was eager to dance to the traditional Yingge dance, and took full advantage of her chance when a procession of performers approached her.
The Yingge dance is translated as “Song of the Hero” and the history goes back to the Ming era (1368-1644).
Performing the dance requires serious physical training, but both adults and children participate in the performance.
