I'm 25, my chosen one is 76. We are happy together, despite the difference of 51 years (7 photos + 1 video)
Diana Montano from San Diego, USA, wasn't looking for love when she met Edgar through a mutual friend. But when she saw him, she felt a spark between them. They got married in July 2024 and have been living in perfect harmony ever since.
Their romance has caused a storm of indignation.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Diana spoke about the difficulties: “My friends' partners quickly join our company and parties. It is harder to attract him because of the places we visit and my fears about how he will feel among young people. Some relatives did not support my choice and think that I am ruining my life. But it does not bother me too much. I understand how my relationship may seem at first glance, but I am happy."
Diana shared that another problem she faces is the "language barrier" between generations.
"At family celebrations, I usually sat with cousins my age. Sometimes I communicated with aunts and family friends who were older. Now I understand that I need to spend more time with elderly relatives so that he can communicate with people who are closer to his age."
The girl began to receive nasty comments on social networks after publishing photos with her husband.
She said: "The worst comment was the one where they wished me to die before Edgar. They also wrote that there is a special place in hell for those who cruelly treat the elderly."
Diana does not care about other people's opinions. She claims that her relationship with Edgar is the closest and most passionate in her life.
"They judge without knowing us. Some are just looking for a reason to hate. They find something they don't like and feel that their hatred is justified. We just laugh when we read the comments," she said.
"I often receive positive messages, people asking how to build a relationship like ours, and asking if Edgar has brothers. It's understandable that people notice us on the street. But with him, everything seems so natural. We always have something to talk about, he treats me with respect and is really full of life."
"We both like the arts. We love going to the theater," she said. "We love nature. We go hiking together and are planning to go skiing."
"We both love adventures and even think about skydiving. In fact, he, unlike me, is into mountaineering. And, of course, we love to travel and explore the world."
But there are differences, such as her love for clubs and bars, which he has little interest in. However, Edgar is "very open" and willing to accept her interests.

"I like him, but we would prefer to keep everything that concerns our sex life a secret," the girl answered the question about intimate relations.
Diana stated that she would take care of her beloved: "If he needs help in the future, we will think about whether we can find him a nurse, which he talked about. Of course, I will also participate in his care. Now it does not bother me, because he is in excellent physical shape. He feels good and stays strong by going to the gym at least three times a week."

She concluded: "Edgar brings out the best in me and I bring out the best in him. I love being with a mature, patient and understanding man. I've met my soulmate. There's no one else like him."
