Tourists explored the famous waterfall in China and realized that it was a fake (6 photos + 2 videos)

6 June 2024

In China there is the Yuntai Waterfall, which everyone recognizes as the most beautiful and impressive in all of Asia. One of the wonders of nature and other regalia, but recently a blogger climbed to the top of the waterfall and exposed many years of lies.

The sheer height of Yuntai Waterfall is 314 meters, and it really looks very impressive, like a skyscraper. Tourists come here in droves, because there is nothing like this in this part of the world.

This Yuntai waterfall is really very beautiful and impressive

Big waterfall fake

A video blogger filmed the top of the waterfall and it turned out that a powerful stream of falling water... was fed from metal pipes. This is not at all greatness created by nature, but beauty designed by man.

This is the same video, a million signatures, very Chinese style

At first, everyone criticized the blogger, calling his video fake, but then the local organizers admitted via WeChat - yes, we modernized the waterfall to provide tourists with a beautiful view, regardless of whether the rivers are powerful with sweat this month or have dried up a little.

During dry seasons, almost nothing flowed from the waterfall, and tourists left disappointed. I had to “tweak” it a little in nature. Several pumps were installed under the riverbed to constantly pump water into the drain from the mountain.

PLEASE NOTE that it is dry up there! That is, the river itself has dried up above!

Is this a shock or is this correct?

Many in China were shocked by the news and video because there are tourists who love to look at architecture. And there are fans of wild nature, but here, it turns out, it’s not wild.

“The highest waterfall in Asia is not a masterpiece of nature?!” - they wrote everywhere.

And again the dry rapids are higher. That is, this waterfall has long been dead by nature, no matter how sad it is

But another unpleasant truth about the waterfall was revealed. It turns out that it was deliberately blocked by the authorities of the neighboring region. The Yuntai Falls itself is located in Henan Province, but the source flows to it from Shanxi Province.

The Shanxi authorities built a reservoir and water intake, and the river towards the waterfall dried up. To prevent him from dying completely, a pipeline had to be built for him.

The Chinese were outraged, because they were also deceived. But the local park said it never hid the falls' upgrades.

Do they really not have the authorities of the two regions connected to such an extent, and there is no global oversight body that would stop the project, which in fact devastates the natural heritage of China.

In general, well done for coping and preserving the landmark. But in fact, the natural monument was also destroyed by the Chinese themselves, but from a different region. A very ambivalent impression. And you?
