The clever bird was given 10 small plastic containers and a row of 10 straw balls of the same colors. The colors were mixed up, and Xiaogui had to take a ball and put it in the correct container, completing all 10 tasks as quickly as possible.
The parrot even managed to distinguish between two shades of pink: at first, he put a dark pink ball in a container for light pink, but noticed the mistake and corrected it.
Xiaogui's owner Qin Feng met his pet when he was still a chick in 2020. The man immediately noticed the bird's interest in toys - especially colored balls. Qin Feng began teaching Xiaogui to distinguish colors by sorting objects by them.
