Boat thief pretended to be a woman to hide from the police (4 photos)
While police were investigating the theft of a boat in the American Lakeport, Florida, the criminal was looking for a way to escape justice. 33-year-old Joshua Kolotka dressed in a woman's outfit and did not forget about his hair.
The sheriff's office released a photo of the detainee wearing a funny wig, sunglasses and a dress.
As sheriff's deputies interviewed local residents, they noticed Joshua Kolotka leaving the house dressed as a woman. He was immediately detained and taken to the Glades County Jail without bail.
A man was arrested on two warrants for the theft of a boat and a John Deere Gator all-terrain vehicle, authorities said.
Numerous items, probably stolen, were found in the criminal's house. The Glades County Sheriff's Office is working with the Seminole Police Department to identify the items.
The post attracted the attention of social network users; they were impressed by the image of Kolotka.
