The modern world is simply teeming with cheap products, which, despite the beautiful packaging, threaten the future owner with sheer trouble. But what if, among this garbage, you manage to find a product of such good quality that you never have to look for a replacement? Never, never, until the end of your life? That's where the Buy to Last subreddit comes in, dedicated to "practical, durable, quality products made to last."

Austrian Empire Army boots, inherited by my father-in-law from his grandfather, who served in them in World War I and then wore them until his death.

Czechoslovakian army boots made in 1968, which I wear when hiking and when riding a motorcycle. Wore them in at least 10 countries over the last 15 years."

5. "My friend's grandmother gave us this mid-80s mixer. It's in almost mint condition, except for a couple of scuff marks that give it some character. It still has the manual, all the original attachments, and works flawlessly."
