Every year neural networks become more and more qualitative and “smart”. If a year ago we laughed at the extra fingers in the pictures, now it’s no longer a laughing matter. Artificial intelligence is developing at an amazing speed.
It’s funny that the creators of the new neural network Sora are working hard to improve it, but at the same time they are afraid that it will be used to create fakes. Sora's capabilities are, however, currently only available to testers. But her skills are already amazing. The neural network creates short videos using queries.
A person who wants to create a video enters a text query, describing his video in words or short phrases. Based on these phrases, the neural network creates a video. It's amazing how clearly she reproduces people and animals. There is almost no AI intervention visible here, no cloven fingers or strange images. Everything is clear upon request.
The creative group shy kids made a short film about a living hot air balloon. As one of its participants said, Sora's greatest strength is not so much its potential for creating photorealistic videos, but its ability to create something surreal.
Experts are still working on the neural network. However, creator Sam Altman said that the company is still continuing to develop the model, and also fears that Sora will be abused to create fakes and disinformation.
