Brazilians built the world's tallest tower from popsicle sticks (4 photos + 1 video)
Ibera Tenorio and Mary Fulfaro from Brazil managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records thanks to their popsicle sticks. They assembled a tower almost 24 meters high!
Ibere Tenorio and Mary Fulfaro know that popsicle sticks don't have to be thrown away.
These sticks may well be useful for a world record, especially if you use them to build the world's tallest tower.
So, craftsmen from Sao Paulo (Brazil) got down to business and erected a tower 23.8 meters high.
Ibere and Mary added that the biggest challenge was installing the tall and fragile structure.
During installation, the tower broke down three times, and we had to start all over again. And the tower of sticks did not stand for long - soon the wind knocked it down.
Fortunately, representatives of the Guinness Book of Records managed to take all the measurements, so the record was officially recorded.
