New Guinness record: the French baked a pizza with 1001 types of cheese (3 photos + 1 video)
Moreover, 940 of these cheeses are French! 
The most cheesy pizzas in the world have repeatedly found their way into the pages of the Guinness Book of Records - there were pizzas with 254 cheeses, and with 730, and with 834. 
But recently a new delicious and super-cheesy record holder has appeared. This is a pizza created by two French chefs Benoit Bruel and Fabian Montelanico, as well as two cheese makers Sophie Hot Rich art-Luna and Florian OnAir. 
Their pizza was also honored to be included in the Guinness Book of Records, because it was made with 1001 types of cheese. The creators of the snack are especially proud that 940 varieties of cheese were prepared in their native France, and the rest are foreign.
