The Korean company LG presented a project called Alpha-able, in which it realized its views on the interiors of future drones. Among other things, the prototype's interior is equipped with several transparent flexible displays.
LG Alpha-able is an attempt to rethink the space of a car, taking into account modern technological trends and, according to the company, the changing attitude of users towards the interiors of their cars. LG believes that from cars that become more and more autonomous, owners will begin to demand versatility in use. Therefore, Alpha-able is positioned as a multi-purpose, transformable interior concept.
The adaptability of the concept is realized due to the possibility of physical transformation into a work space, a place to relax or eat, and even a cinema on wheels. The latter is facilitated by the use of transparent flexible displays that can be rolled up. In addition, LG mentions certain technologies from the world of household appliances, although it does not provide any details.
Alpha-able is equipped with a voice assistant with elements of artificial intelligence, which, according to LG, will help passengers feel the uniqueness of each trip. Finally, the car's interior should help users relax and unwind - in this mode, Alpha-able will provide relaxing massages and soothing views on the on-board screens.
LG has not yet announced anything about the prospects for serial use of the declared technologies.
