In Spain, local residents broke more than ten thousand eggs in a mock battle

In addition to the eggs, more than 2.5 tons of flour were scattered during the battle. The traditional “battle” takes place annually on the Day of the Holy Infants - the participants in the “massacre” are divided into the “military junta” and the “opposition” and throw eggs and flour at each other.
According to the mayor of the city of Ibi, Sergio Carrasco, all the eggs used as projectiles were expired.
