A video of a waitress from the Chinese city of Chongqing has gone viral on the Internet. The girl imitates robotic movements so delicately that she is mistaken for an android.





As the world faces the threat that artificially intelligent robots will put people out of work, footage of an android greeting diners at a restaurant in Chongqing has emerged online. However, the waitress is more realistic than she seems at first glance.



News reporters rushed to the restaurant for details, but discovered the real person.

It turned out that the waitress is the owner of the establishment. In her spare time, the 26-year-old takes part in street performances.

Qin says dancing remains her main passion in life. Since the Chinese woman opened the restaurant three years ago, she and her friends regularly put on performances for visitors.



But Qin really struck it big earlier this year when she began portraying an android. The performances are so lifelike that new clients cannot tell the difference between her and an artificial creature.
