A sports car assembled by hand from Audi parts was put up for sale (3 photos)
An advertisement for the sale of a unique in its a kind of track supercar that does not have its own name and was built on the basis of spare parts from Audi. It was valued at just $22,000.
Who exactly created such a machine is unknown, but it looks as a racing car from Group C, which existed from 1982 to 1993. She has quite low and at the same time a wide body, and the driver's seat located strictly in the center.
The car also draws attention to the large front splitter, ventilated hood, air intake on the roof, exhaust pipes brought out on the sides and a massive rear wing aft.
The photographs show that the supercar lacks registration plates and side mirror housings, which means for driving on it is not intended for public roads.
According to the seller, in the design of the unnamed coupe many components from various Audis are involved, but it is not included in the detail goes into. Most likely, it was built on the basis of a custom chassis, and not any specific donor car.
One way or another, the machine is set in motion by a rear-mounted V6 engine from the first generation Audi A4. This is a 2.8 liter unit with a capacity of 193 hp
Motor performance may seem insufficient, but the car weighs a little. And the seller claims that the engine can further boost.
Self-made track supercar is in "working" condition, although it needs some maintenance/repair. At present ad is no longer active. Probably someone has already bought the car.
