In North Carolina, a plane crashed right into the ocean near a beach
During the flight, the light aircraft experienced technical problems, and the pilot decided to land on the water near Oak Island. Eyewitnesses thought it was a seaplane, but, according to them, "it seemed to be landing, and then it crashed and tilted." The pilot was thrown out of the cockpit, and local rescuers managed to swim to him and then safely pulled him to shore. The man was hospitalized with bruises and abrasions.
