With twin turbo V6 engine, manual gears and looks reminiscent of the original 240Z, the Z Proto is the most exciting thing we've seen from Nissan lately.
Everything that Americans thought about Japanese cars and themselves Japanese (especially in the post-war years ...) was rewritten by sports Datsun 240Z, and now a new generation of Nissan Z is back in classic style and extremely attractive shape, making thousands enthusiasts dream about it!
At the dawn of the 1970s, the Datsun 240Z completely changed the image of Japanese cars. in America as reliable and economical, but boring and faceless. Sports coupe with a six-cylinder engine, in addition to indestructible units, gave the owners an unforgettable driving experience. Success was grandiose, the army of 240Z fans grew year by year in a geometric progressions, iconic after World War II in America British sports cars were overthrown and forgotten.
The history of the Z-ki began in 1969 and already has seven generations. The world changed, the car changed too: Datsun was renamed to Nissan, added a pair of rear seats, straight-six engine changed V6, incl. turbocharged. Unfortunately the original concept has long been lost, but a few years ago the Japanese dusted off design solutions of Datsun and showed the world a modern interpretation classic 240Z. Of the obvious references, deep-set headlights and a Z badge on the roof rack - "Never before has Stirlitz been so close to failure."
The first batch of the latest Nissan Z was released in the amount of 240 copies, which were extremely quickly sold out by fans and investors, as is the copy in the photo, which was sold in Australia for more than 100 thousand Australian dollars.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine with 400 horsepower, aggregated with six-speed mechanics. Rear drive, system stabilization can be completely turned off (today it is rare) and hand out corners with terrible force. All this buzz will get only Japanese, Americans and other Australians.
