UK Selects Representative for International Beauty Pageant (5 photos)
The UK has crowned its representative for the Universal Woman 2026 international beauty pageant, which features contestants aged 25 to 45 from around the world. Rebecca Afolabi, who previously won the national title, will represent Britain on the global stage. 
The British beauty has Nigerian roots. Born in the US, she later lived in Nigeria and London, and holds British citizenship. 
Afolabi works as a digital marketing manager. She is also passionate about music—particularly K-pop—and has a background in sports as a championship-winning cheerleader.
A singer, athlete, and beauty queen, she earned her spot at the prestigious global pageant through her stunning looks and charisma. Media outlets note that supporters hope the "blend of British education and Nigerian heritage will give her a major edge with an international jury that values authenticity and multiculturalism." 
The Universal Woman 2026 pageant will take place in Cambodia from September 29 to October 12, with the grand finale scheduled for October 10. Universal Woman places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, allowing women to compete regardless of their marital status, whether they have children, or their height and weight.
