In China, netizens criticized the management of Shanghai Disneyland. People were unhappy that costumed performers were forced to get soaked in the pouring rain during Typhoon Dolphin.
The natural disaster brought destruction, torrential rain, and wind gusts of up to 150 km/h. A million people were evacuated from Shanghai, but Disneyland remained open.
A few visitors filmed the performers getting soaked in the rain and wandering around the empty park.
