Park visitors rescued a dog locked in a hot car

In the parking lot of Movie Park Germany amusement park in Bottrop, Germany, visitors discovered a dog locked in a car that had been parked in the sun for several hours.
Fearing for the animal's life, witnesses contacted emergency services, after which they decided to smash the car's window. The dog was freed and given first aid. According to rescuers, the dog was severely overheated but survived.
