During a light show in Sydney, about a hundred drones began falling from the night sky.
During the colorful event as part of the Vivid Sydney light and music festival, something went wrong for the organizers: dozens of drones suddenly began losing control and plummeting into Darling Harbour in front of astonished spectators. The show was ultimately canceled.
Preliminary reports indicate the cause of the crash was an unexpected radio frequency failure after takeoff—some of the drones first automatically entered emergency landing mode and then shut down completely. According to local media, no one was injured in the massive "drone fall."
