81-Year-Old Grandmother-Streamer Detained by SWAT Team During Live Stream
The incident occurred on the evening of May 18th during a 24-hour stream on her Twitch channel. Viewers witnessed armed police officers enter her room and begin searching her. The pensioner was asleep at the time.
"They took me out, and I didn't understand what was happening, but it was pretty funny," recalls the pensioner, who didn't even have time to interrupt her stream. Zhako also recalled that among the law enforcement officers was "the most beautiful policewoman she'd ever seen," with "beautiful eyes."
The pensioner's grandson reported that 20 police cars, five SWAT officers, and drones flying over the property had gathered outside her California home. The woman notes that she "never felt more secure."
The next day, GrammaCrackers went live with her grandson to reassure viewers. According to her, police arrived at her home after a false alarm: someone reported that a pensioner had been shot.
The woman admitted she was "absolutely thrilled" by the arrest: "It was pretty funny." Zhako was also excited about the new experience: riding in a police car for the first time and "meeting people I never would have met otherwise."
Zhako launched her YouTube channel in 2024 and has since amassed over 600,000 subscribers. Through Minecraft streams, the pensioner has raised $59,000 for her grandson Jack's cancer treatment. He is now healthy.
