A lion decided to swim across the Talek River in Kenya. As the predator nearly reached the shore, a large crocodile approached him.
The incident occurred on March 4 in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. A lion named Oloimina, well known to rangers, was filmed attempting to cross the turbulent river. The lion entered the water and swam to the opposite bank. As Oloimina neared his destination, a large crocodile emerged from the water and headed toward him.
As the lion neared the shore, the reptile lunged at him. Oloimina managed to dodge and escape.
