Man escapes from giant dogs thanks to mobile phone explosion in his pocket (2 photos + 1 video)

In Brazil, a young man escaped from attacking dogs thanks to an exploding cell phone battery in his shorts pocket.





The incident occurred in early February in the city of Cascavel, Paraná state. Auto mechanic Reinaldo was on his way to work when two large dogs attacked him. The Brazilian began to fight back desperately. "One of them lunged straight for my throat. I hit it, and it tried to bite my leg, but only hit the phone in my pocket. The battery exploded. It was dangerous, but it saved my life. It was incredible," he said of his rescue.



Reynaldo suffered burns, but the phone's exploding battery scared the dogs away. He managed to escape and call the police. It turned out the dogs were pets, but Reynaldo decided not to sue the owners, as they apologized, paid for his medical treatment, and bought him a new phone.
