A Smart Ash Urn with a Built-in Speaker
A streaming service and a soda brand have released a wireless funeral urn speaker. It's a limited edition and sold only in the US.
Music streaming service Spotify has teamed up with American brand Liquid Death to unveil the strangest speaker yet. It looks like a funeral urn and, according to the company, can "transmit music to the afterlife."
The new product is called the Eternal Playlist Urn. It's a white cremation urn with a small Bluetooth speaker built into the lid. It can be connected to a smartphone and generate an "eternal playlist" associated with the deceased. To create this playlist, users are asked to answer questions about their mood and preferences.
The Eternal Playlist Urn costs $495. Only 150 units have been produced, making it a limited edition. It's only available in the US.
