British singer Craig David decided to rescue a flying fish that had jumped out of the water onto a pier. He threw the fish back into the water and watched its fate unfold.
The singer encountered a bright blue fish in the Maldives. It leaped out of the water onto a pier while he was dining on the shore. Craig David immediately picked it up and threw it back into the water. Contrary to his expectations, the fish didn't swim away and simply bobbed in the waves. David then tried to encourage it, but it still refused to swim away.
Suddenly, a larger fish appeared from behind and swallowed it. "Oh my God, oh my God," was all the singer could say. He filmed the botched rescue.
