Two years after Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May ended their run, The Grand Tour returns with new hosts. Thomas Holland, Francis Bourgeois, and James Engelsman will host the show. The reboot is scheduled for late 2026. The Grand Tour will air in 240 countries on Prime Video.
The first season of the show will consist of six episodes, with filming taking place around the world. Viewers are expected to see American cars tested in California, delve into the automotive world of Malaysia, and learn the intricacies of navigating the Angolan desert while driving tracked vehicles.
The program's creators note that the main goal of the reboot is to preserve the DNA of The Grand Tour, as well as to find new talented presenters who can not only emulate, but become worthy successors to the legendary Clarkson, Hammond, and May.
Incidentally, Holland and Engelsman already have experience with such filming, as they jointly host the YouTube channel Throttle House, which receives tens of millions of views annually.
Bourgeois is also a blogger with millions of subscribers, specializing primarily in unusual travel experiences and car repairs.
