Unusual mini-cafe in Tokyo

In Japan, you can find a cafe with an interior inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's anime "Howl's Moving Castle." The legendary Soviet "Bukhanka" (loaf) is a unique element of the cafe's decor.

The cafe is open only a few days a month (mostly weekends) and is a family project run by a young woman and her mother.

The cuisine here is exclusively home-style. Mother and daughter create the menu and prepare signature dishes themselves.
