A NASA WB-57 research aircraft, typically used for scientific research missions, made an emergency landing without its landing gear deployed at Ellington Airport, Texas. Footage published online shows the aircraft moving down the runway, emitting sparks.
According to media reports, there were two people on board. NASA spokesperson Bethany Stevens stated that the problem was "mechanical" and the crew was uninjured. The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
