Local resident Wen Fengqing has become a true legend of the rural sports games, winning 22 victories in 26 tournaments in a single year. For Wen, this isn't just a hobby, but a way to provide her family with high-quality protein, as the main prize of the competition is the trophy itself, which the winner takes home. 
The secret to Wen's success lies in her athletic background—a former shot putter and tug-of-war master applies her Olympic stamina to the pigsty. 
Her triumph over the 73-kilogram boar is worthy of respect. While a crowd of men tried to surround the animal for half an hour, Wen simply lunged, pinned the giant to the ground, and held it for four times longer than the rules required.
