The World Energy Ball Throwing Championship was recently held in Abu Dhabi. Players wore augmented reality headsets and moved around the arena, throwing balls at each other and defending themselves with virtual shields.
Six teams from various countries, including Japan, the birthplace of this sport, participated in the tournament. The prize fund was $50,000, and the team from South Korea emerged victorious.
