The Exeed brand unveiled four new models, including two station wagons (14 photos)
Chery has announced a "reboot" of its premium brand, Exeed, which will include the addition of four new models to the lineup—two station wagons and a pair of large crossovers. They have been given the designations ES7 GT, ES8, ET8, and ET9. According to IT Home, all new models will be hybrids and will hit the market within 10 to 20 months, eventually being equipped with solid-state batteries. Testing of the new models with these batteries is planned to begin in 2026.
Exeed ES7 GT
The Exeed ES7 GT is being presented as the brand's first shooting brake. The station wagon is promised sporty handling and a four-motor powertrain, allowing acceleration to 100 km/h in 3 seconds with a range of approximately 1,700 kilometers. So far, all that is known about the ES8 is that its range will be significantly shorter (around 1,000 kilometers), but this model has been named the first candidate for the Rhino solid-state batteries and ultra-fast charging system. Additionally, the station wagon will feature all-wheel steering and six-piston brake calipers.
The company already unveiled the ET8 crossover this fall, but this model has now debuted with a redesigned appearance—the large SUV incorporates the latest Exeed styling. The ET9, which is expected to be even larger, will feature rear doors that open against the direction of travel. This model is also promised to feature rear-wheel steering and a "tank mode," and will be equipped with an oxygen generator.
