A river you can walk on

The Buriganga River in Dhaka is so polluted that in some places you can literally walk on its surface. Despite the efforts of volunteers and environmental organizations, the situation remains critical: household waste, plastic, and industrial discharge continue to turn the river into a complete dump.

The Buriganga is still considered one of the most polluted rivers in the world.
