After their first date, Alyssa Armugam demanded a $1,000 weekly payment from her future husband if he wanted to see her again. 30-year-old Alyssa met 59-year-old Mark through a dating app. After he met all of her demands, the couple married. They now have two children. The self-proclaimed "trophy wife" encourages women to "know their worth."





Alyssa moved to Florida, USA, in 2018. She was unhappy after a breakup and decided to look for a new partner through dating apps. She had three important requirements for a man: he had to be wealthy, attentive, and religious.

When Mark told her he'd toured the country speaking about Jesus, Alyssa checked one box. There were still two to go. She declared she was willing to meet him, but only if he'd pay for a nanny. According to her, if a man couldn't afford $45 for a nanny, he wasn't worth her time.



On their first date, Mark gave her $300 for child care. He left a significant amount in cash. When the businessman asked for another meeting, Alyssa thoroughly investigated his financial situation. She shared, "He was very persistent." I said, "Okay, here are my terms: I want someone to pay for my nails, hair, and waxing. I want a weekly allowance of $1,000. That will give me a sense of security. And I want to be exclusive."

The money allowed the woman to put a deposit on a house for herself and her daughter, Zia.

Mark proposed to Alyssa in 2020, they married in 2022, and soon had a son, Keanu. He adopted his girlfriend's daughter.

Alyssa admitted that she's always been attracted to older men. However, her love for Mark is more important to her than his financial situation. She noted, "Some people think I'm with him for his money. That was definitely one of my conditions, but I would never marry him just for that. We truly inspire each other to be the best."

The couple now share a budget, and according to Alyssa, this relationship helps her achieve everything she wants. She's currently working on a clothing line for breastfeeding women. She still receives expensive gifts from Mark, from trips to designer bags.

She added: "He's a typical Pisces. Very romantic. I told him I love small gifts. He understands and accepts it. He takes me shopping, buys me Louis Vuitton. This is his usual behavior. He courts me. When I started dating, I knew what I wanted in a man. I understood what I would bring to his life. That's what made me firm in my demands. Women don't always realize their worth."
