An otter and a fox strolled through the city at night (3 photos + 1 video)

CCTV cameras in Lincoln, England, captured an otter and a fox on the night of November 22. It's still unknown where the animals came from or what prompted them to go for a walk. The city council noted that the footage is reminiscent of a Christmas advert and shows an example of "incredible friendship."





Steve Nicol, head of Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, called the incident "strange."

"It's truly unusual. These animals never hunt in the same places. They should have been fighting, not wandering around the shops. "Seeing a fox in the city center is not uncommon, but encountering an otter is quite another matter," he noted.



Lincoln City Council released the video, writing: "Our CCTV officers monitor the safety of the city and its residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year."

"They see families enjoying the city, friends sharing memories, and sometimes even strong friendships being formed. Something special was spotted this week. It's not a Christmas advert, but rather a short film about a fox and an otter exploring Lincoln together."



The video quickly went viral.

One viewer wrote: "This is better than the John Lewis Christmas advert."

Another added: "So lovely to watch! We often see ducks waddling, but this one is incredible."
