A seal, pursued by hungry killer whales, managed to escape death. The animal jumped onto a boat to join the crew.
In US waters, wildlife photographer Sharvert Drucker captured the moment a seal was rescued from a pod of killer whales.
The woman said she had chartered a boat to watch killer whales hunt. Suddenly, she spotted their prey—a seal desperately fighting for its life. Following the rules of engagement with wild animals, the captain shut off the engine to prevent injury.
This decision saved the seal. It jumped onto the boat to join the crew, and the bloodthirsty whales were unable to reach it.
