A true miracle of nature: a man showed his flight over the world's tallest waterfall
Elementary school teacher Alan Chung, who has lived in Venezuela since 2019, decided to fulfill his dream of flying to see the world's largest waterfall. He captured stunning footage of his flight over this natural wonder, which has captivated the internet.
The elementary school teacher's video has gone viral, garnering over 7 million views. The video shows a helicopter flying past a cliff, revealing a stunning view from the cockpit: an endless green ocean of jungle, out of which emerges a rock wall with a white ribbon of water cascading down.
"It was incredible. Seeing Angel Falls from a helicopter is a privilege that only a few people in the world have, especially given Venezuela's reputation for being dangerous to travel to," Mr. Chung told What's The Jam.
Journalists recall that Angel Falls, located in Venezuela's Canaima National Park, is 979 meters high. Its waters fall from a cliff for almost a kilometre, breaking into clouds of mist that are illuminated by the sun.
