In Guizhou Province, final construction is nearing completion on the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge. This monumental engineering feat is set to become the tallest suspension bridge in the world.
The bridge spans 625 meters over the Sanjiang River—almost twice the height of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris. The bridge's total length is 2,890 meters, with the main span measuring 1,420 meters.
The Huajiang Bridge will connect the north and south of Guizhou Province, significantly reducing travel time between major cities in the region. Experts say this will strengthen the economy and attract tourists from around the world.
