A Norwegian company unveiled a robot butler
The startup 1X has opened pre-orders for the NEO robot, which can clean, iron, vacuum, and help with other household chores.
Key Features:
— The humanoid stands 165 cm tall and weighs 30 kg. It can lift up to 70 kg and carry up to 25 kg;
— Walking speed: 4 km/h. Running speed: 12 km/h;
— The body is made of soft, seamlessly knitted nylon with a "knit suit" and soft surfaces;
— Can do virtually all housework: fold clothes, clean, vacuum, water plants, etc.
It is controlled using natural speech and gestures and can also communicate. For example, it can find information online, hold a conversation, recommend what to cook from the refrigerator, and help learn a foreign language.
