A robot that can perform human tasks
Figure unveiled its updated robot butler, the 03. The robot can greet guests, clean, do laundry, and play with pets. The developers' goal is to create a versatile robot that can learn directly from humans.
The robots have soft-touch fabric "skin" and sensitive fingers, and cameras are now even built into the back of their heads and palms. Their joints are now twice as fast, wireless charging is available (the battery lasts for about 5 hours), and they promise branded workwear for various tasks.
